To experience as many different realms of life in as many different languages as possible and put it into words. I work as a language teacher and a writer to bring more understanding between people of different experiences and perspectives, and to help make the world a better place.

I started couchsurfing when I began traveling in Africa. I'd love to host when I'm not traveling. It's a great way to meet interesting people.

Working and living in an Azerbaijani village in Georgia between the Armenian and Azerbaijani borders. I've also taught English along the Iranian border in Azerbaijan.

I like to bring hosts something from some country I've lived in and share it with them. This may come in the form of cooking something for them, teaching them a phrase or something about that country, sharing a story, or bringing them a material gift.
