ABOUT ME

Howdy, I spend my summers in the largest playground in the world, the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. Working for Sequoia National Park on a back country trail crew building and maintaining the fabulous network of trails we have, Riding my horse Waylon, packing the rank mules and spending my weekends upon mountains high or simply fishing. We boast the tallest peak in the lower 48, Mt. Whitney, and the "largest tree in the world" the General Sherman tree (previously the Carl Marx tree), mountain bliss. I have spent the past four winters traveling the world and have been to every continent now except for Antarctica, yeah. only wet my appetite for adventure.
I fully believe in the interconnectedness of us all and practice being human everyday, smiles and love. I am inherently friendly and tend to trust just about everyone upon first meeting them. This is one of true gifts traveling has given me, faith in humanity. It has been a while since I spent time tramping this country and I figured I would do a little exploring, human being, and hitch hiking on the home turf in a new way, not like my previous hobo ways in a tent.
