ABOUT ME

Half Mauritian, half French, so genetic predispositions to talk a lot and party
I love discovering new cultures and learning languages (although I suck at it.) I just moved to Mauritius Island, my mother's homeland, for a new adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in being independent and mobile. Many people tend to keep living in their hometown dreaming of a better life, I would be the kind that is not afraid to check if the grass is greener elsewhere.

Getting to know people on vacation is very important. Mauritius is an amazing destination, I want to help people experience it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

They were all amazing. I couchsurfed a bit in Asia and in the Caucases, and I've had an awesome time with all the persons I've met. I also hosted a few travelers in Korea and in Paris.

I love going to the beach and showing around Mauritius sights, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere. I am more of a BBQ-Pool party at friends' type than a whole night clubber (although I sometimes do that too)

Where to start? I could never find enough space to list all the movies I like. But if you want to please me, start with Lars von Trier, Almodovar and French or Korean movies. As for books, I love thrillers and science fiction. Otherwise, I listen to all kinds of music because I love singing (strong Korean influence!) I also very much enjoy Mauritian music, I can share with you if you want.

What I can share with you is within the scope of French and Mauritian culture, and also what I learned from living in Asia. I like cooking, I can teach how to make a gratin dauphinois or mauritian snacks easily! You can feel free to ask me anything about both of my cultures, great chances I would be able to answer.
