Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love reading, especially books that make me think, and the same goes for movies. and i could never imagine a life without music.
some favorite books: A Thousand Splendid Suns, The God of Small Things, The Kite Runner, Animal Dreams, Memiors of a Geisha, Poisonwood Bible, An Unquiet Mind. favorite movies: Once, The Hours, Memento, The Life of David Gale, Atonement, Love Actually, The Prestige.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went with a bunch of teenagers to a small town in Romania where we did volunteer work for two weeks, and on one day we all worked in the woods. I remember taking a break at one point from my task of stripping branches for kindling and looking across the section of forest we were working in and I saw everybody - the American youth and the Hungarian youth - all working side by side to sort out firewood for people in the town who couldnt get it for themselves. We'd only been in Keresztur for 4 days but we all already felt right at home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to gain a broader perspective of the world. I grew up in a small town which is commonly known as the "Concord Bubble" - basically you don't know what happens outside of it until you get outside of it. So I got out.
