ABOUT ME:
Queer mom with insatiable wanderlust
I enjoy learning about other cultures and languages, getting lost exploring new places, meeting all sorts of people, checking out museums, restaurants, cafes, hiking, learning as much as I can, stargazing, discovering new interests and hobbies, and hopefully inspiring my kids along the way.
My career background is in social services but now I work remotely in non-profit tech consulting.

NOTE: I have a surprising number of men contact me thinking this is a dating site. I am not looking for any potential romantic encounters, thank you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have two teenage boys. When they were younger and I could not afford to take them traveling, I decided to bring the world to them. We hosted some great people from different countries! We have also enjoyed couchsurfing across America with some awesome folks!

I'm not sure where to begin. I have many interests and am always open to discovering more! I'm vaxxed and boosted for Covid and will respect any precautions you request in your home

If you are visiting me, I can help personalize an itinerary in Chicago to your interests and suggest some great places to explore! I'm also happy to share English lessons with you or your kids. Preference given to LGBTQ+ guests, as I know it's not always easy to find places which feel safe.
