ABOUT ME
My name is Abyan, I was born and raised in a metropolitan city called Jakarta. I travel not because I want to have collection of photos that I can upload on my social media(s) or to show off to people how many countries I've been to .I travel to explore my self-being. This might sound overwhelming, but I want to find out the essence of life through traveling. I just want to go out and experience something beyond my comfort zone.

For me, traveling is not only about taking nice pictures or just go to tourist attraction (well, I do love sightseeing). It is also about meeting new people along the way. I always amazed whenever I met locals. By knowing locals, there will always something new and priceless I can experience in new places. Most of the people I met during traveling, though for a short time, always left me impression!

Well, maybe you can check my spotify playlist so we can find out if we have anything common. Basically, I like soft-music, bubblegum pop, and EDM.
I am quite judgmental on movies (but I promise only for picking movies!), before I watch movies I'll always take a look at the rating on rotten tomatoes or IMDB. I don't have any specific genres for my favorite movies, I watch disney, action movies, fiction movies, drama, or even horror movies sometimes (even though after watching horror movies I always felt terrible).
The little prince will always be my favorite book!

What if I have 4 , can I mention all of it? :)
1. Got an opportunity to travel for free through international events and met amazing people along the way,
2. Became a project officer to 78 people for a trip to Singapore-Malaysia
3. Survived a comunity service in a remote area of Indonesia for 2 months and there was no cellular network there
4. I survived a semester exchange in Poland!

I am passionate on learning languages and learning new culture.
I love to share my experiences, fun facts, and I really love to share about weird things that Indonesians do.
