About Me

I'm Amanda Catherine, but my friends call me AC.

I lived and worked at an herb farm called Twee.

We homestead, grow, laugh, eat, and give thanks to our mother,

while deepening our connection with the earth and each other.

Now I'm on the road as The Traveling Herb Farmer in the Butter Bus, my mini converted school bus with 3 great friends and 3 great dogs. I'm selling my herbal wares and tea by the cup along the way. We are hitting cities, beaches, hot springs, fairs, and seeing friends along the way. We are having a blast and travelling smooth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love all kinds of music, hip hop, folk, rock etc. I'm especially into psychedelic rock and some other more obscure and wonderful bands right now. Bands I've been playing a lot lately; It's Not Night It's Space, Ancient Sky, Om, Neurosis, Man Man, Tribe Called Quest, Little Dragon,
Been Listening to some wonderful strong women a lot lately, Coco Rosie, Charming Hostess, Arc Iris, Liana Gabel, MIA, Kimya Dawson, and Lauren Hill.

Movies: hard to play favorites. I don't watch a lot of TV, we don't have one at the farm. I like watching movies though, especially with the appropriate snacks.
