About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to take this life, this one wild and precious chance- bend and stretch and experience it until it's got nothing left to give.
ABOUT ME
I am hopelessly alive. You'd be hard pressed to find a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me. It may be terribly predictable, but I love to write. Really- I love to write. I would rather go a day without food than a day without music, but as far as food goes, I love olives and hot chocolate. Not together. I've been an animal lover my whole life. My current furry soulmate is Bahloo, a bunny who lives under my bed and soothes my soul.
PHILOSOPHY
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
I plan to name a child after Emerson one day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to CouchSurf, but I look forward to the great experiences it is sure to instigate.
Interests
I am interested in people, the way they think, the way they act, the way they relate to each other. (Thus the psychology major.) I am interested in culture and language. I find religion and spirituality fascinating, and am always looking to engage in insightful conversation.
I love sports. My favorites are football, soccer and lacrosse. I also love endurance sports such as biking, running and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really should not even begin, for there will literally be no end.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the funeral of a child, and while this experience was surreal and scarring, it gave my life a purpose and demonstrated that this existence has an end which will undoubtedly come too soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a rather strange talent for knot tying.
