It's been a good while since I joined this platform, so here I edit my "About Me" section.

I'm a translator, translating literature and art. Working hard has its consequences. My greatest preoccupation nowadays is breathing. Stretching does take good deal of my time. Soon I'll start practicing meditation.

Falling in love with my profession in early 2000s in Istanbul, I went to Leuven for my MA degree. Coming back to Istanbul, I lived in multiple locations (Buyukada for a year, Pangalti for three years and Kadikoy for 2 years - these are the most memorable) and had different jobs - all related to translation.

As of October 2019, I'll be starting my PhD degree in Chicago after getting married.

Caving (needs practice) Seaside (with some beer or coffee)... Windsurfing! Hybrid literatures... Playing the bass and the bongo. Learning how to play.
