ABOUT ME

Wow, a lot has changed since I last updated my profile. I live in Berkeley and do have a couch available many times of the year. Right now my work is getting in the way of my Wanderlust so I am sending host invitations to live vicariously through the travelers who are out having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended gatherings in SoCal, but haven't managed to schedule it yet in the Bay Area. Mostly due to working 6-7 nights a week. It has impaired my couchsurfing as well, but I'm looking to fix that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Learn to cook, you'll find a couch, learn to cook well you'll find many couches, learn to cook well and do your dishes and you may upgrade to a real bed.

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Duffy, The 3 Bobs (Dylan, Marley and Seger [ordered alphabetically because I know you're wondering]), Gorillaz, most things that don't involve Corporate watered down Country or Opera.

Ideas are dangerous these days, it will be much safer for everybody if we just burn all the books. Then people will stop having bad ideas, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying into New Orleans 5 months after Katrina to unrepentant Southern Hospitality all through Mardi Gras.

As the billboard outside the airport said, "Nothing Cancels Mardi Gras. . .Nothing."

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach ballroom dance, guitar, massage, cooking, English, Psychology, lower level Biology, U.S. History, English Literature & Composition though some of these would require I surf your couch for a semester or two.
