Hi I'm Avery, but everyone calls me Ace!

I'm a laid back creative type, born in the farm fields of rural Iowa, where I grew up in a unique spiritual community, practicing meditation and mindful living from the ripe age of five years old. I'm always seeking new experiences and knowledge, and have a passion for the visual arts, health and nutrition, cooking, camping, hiking, science, technology, history, music, you name it. I've spent the last three and a half years living in Brooklyn, NY, but I'm currently on an extended solo travel excursion, mostly through Asia.
