Cherish the present moment. Respect the past, envision the future, but remain present to who and what you are right now.
Learn, as much as you can, from as many people as you can. The world has so much to share.
Appreciate. The universe is one hell o' gorgeous place. We don't look up down and all around enough (lifted from a tour guide in Westminster Abbey, nice one!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to experiment and to share my experiments/experiences with others...I am defo not a complete adrenaline junkie though, I do like a bit of chill now and then, especially accompanied by music. Hell I love all of it accompanied by music if possible.

I am still a CS newbie, but the people I have met already are all very interesting - everyone on here is so curious about the world around them, and I love sharing this energy and passion for life and experiencing new adventures.

Everything - except horror. Cannot do horror - imagination too vivid. Otherwise, love all music, most movies (esp the comedies) and all books (passionate bibliophile).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On various mountaintops in the wilds of Japan (part of my "3 Sacred Mountains" mission) - in a typhoon on Mt Fuji, amidst the wildflowers on Mt Hakusan, getting lost in a thunderstorm on top of Mt Tatayama, and hiking the Daikiretto.
On a night dive, drift dive in the Philippines (Apo Island and Siquihor)
Getting lost in the mountains in Sicily and walking the rim of Vulcano
Chilling on the beach in Ischia
Sea Kayaking in Mexico
Jumping down a waterfall down the Grand Canyon
Lead singer for hard rock band, playing Cambridge Rock Festival UK

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Ashtanga, Bikram (Hot), Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga.
I can also teach you chemistry, pharmaceutical and enological.
I really want to learn more water sports - surfing, windsurfing, diving, kayaking - in all of these I have experienced just enough to really want to explore further.
