ABOUT ME
I love technology, art, getting to know strangers, architecture, spirituality, music, adventure, sports and nature.
I grew up in Berlin and simply love it. But it feels wrong for me to just stay in the place that one loves, the place where one feels most comfortable (which is usually just the place that shaped one's notions of comfort). I want to understand humanity. And I just feel I wouldn't be taking humanity seriously if I "settled" some day choosing one language, one place, one culture above all the others. I wouldn't be taking humanity seriously if I stopped exploring its manifold manifestations some day and became complacent with what "suits" me, what I "like". I wouldn't be taking humanity seriously, if I didn't make use of the rare freedom to go and see it in all the shapes it has taken in different places of the world, even if they leave me in irritation, awkwardness, and sometimes loneliness. What I like or dislike: I don't think it too relevant. I want to understand humanity! :)
So yes, I am a somewhat thoughtful person and I love discussing thoughts with other people who think differently. I am very easy going and tolerant.. I like to live life the way it comes and constantly analyze myself from above as if I was in a psychological experiment .. instead of getting super-engaged in the action.
I am half-Indian and half-German but neither of my parents have managed to imbibe their national identity in me - so I am forced to try to become a citizen of the world :) .. I feel I get closer with every person I meet that is from a different background, culture or country!
PHILOSOPHY
Universalism. Everywhere I go, I look into peoples faces and fundamentally I see the same: I see joy in children, I see ambitions in men, I see grace in women. I see the same interests, I see the same frustrations. The rest are details.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only surfed a few times, but that's about to change. Hosted many people in India, Germany and the US, always amazing experiences.
Interests
I enjoy thinking with other open minds. Crossing limits of arbitrary convention. Doing what feels right in the moment - without letting the habit of my previous self stop me.
I also enjoy playing the guitar and the occasional round of football.
