Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
saturate myself in Chinese culture (and tea)
ABOUT ME
A bookish but fun Belle and Sebastian fan who likes vegetarian food, talking about important things and trivia. I try to eat a bananna every day and try not to drink a gin and tonic every day.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a hard one to fill in without sounding too whimsical. People do what they do for loads of reasons, some of them deep and some very shallow. Its all okay with me. Im very open minded. I dont beleive in the idea of 'blame'. I think the universe has a lot to answer for.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading: Dorothy Parker, Hemmingway, Anais Nin, Bukowski, Oscar Wilde, Kurt Vonnegurt, Murikami, Waugh, Wilde and Woolf. Films: my favorite this year is Boyhood. I have missed alot living in China though. Music: deep house when im out, Belle and Sebastian when im at home, Yann Tiersen when im working, mowtown and FKA Twigs anytime.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think its about the little things we do rather than the big achievements, and i do things every day that i hope make people feel a bit better about being alive.
I did sleep in the jungle in Penang once which can be classified as amazing on some levels.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn to speak Mandarin and Cantonese, and practice my (appalling) French. Im a native English speaker and a writer, a good listener and a poet (of sorts), an ex cocktail-bartender and excellent pancake maker.
