ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old and I'm studying English, Politics and Spanish to become a teacher. I've only started studying Spanish last year, so I need a looooot of practice! I love travelling and getting to know new places (especially non-touristy ones) and cultures. I enjoy talking about languages and cultures and their similarities and differences! I'm also very clean and I don't snore. ;)
The same goes for my friend Teresa (except that she studies History instead of Politics, but also English & Spanish), she's a lovely person, a perfect travelling companion and probably the most environmentally conscious person I know. She's an active member of Greenpeace and we'd both love to get to know like-minded people.

PHILOSOPHY

"If humans could have one superpower, what would it be?
I have finally decided that it would be the power to see things from another's perspective. You could be in a war and hear the enemy's mind praying to make it home safe. There wouldn't be as many wars."

Interests

music (mainly indie & folk music, I also play the guitar & the ukulele, but I'm a very mediocre player), books (all different kind of books, but I rather read the classics than the latest bestsellers), films (Of course! I especially enjoy good non-Hollywood films from different genres, although horror movies are definitely not my cup of tea), cooking (love to try new recipes, but no meat&fish please), knitting

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh dear, where should I start! I enjoy music that is made with love and feeling and not in order to sell as many albums as possible.
Moviewise I'm a big fan of film noir and mafia movies, but there is so much more out there... So many movies to watch, so many books to read!

I can show you how to make the best vegetarian lasagna ever (and a lot of other things)! Also I can teach you the very basics of knitting, some German, English or Spanish... whatever you'd like!
