About Me

I consider myself a naïve who wishes to leave the world in a better state than when I arrived. One can label me as an INFP personality. Calm, Introverted, Chronically Imaginative, and an artist; in a nutshell I consider myself comparative to a potato patty, crispy and warm on the outside but bubbling with hot passion and gooey imagination on the inside. Well words wont do much justice, unless one meets me to know more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live and study Architecture in Gothenburg Sweden. I just completed my first year of my Masters program. This September, I have been accepted into a summer school in Cortona, Italy. But before going there I would like to make the best of this opportunity to visit Milan and Florence. Since I do not have any acquaintances in both these places and also since I would be travelling solo, I thought couchsurfing would be a perfect way to not only get around a new country, but also meet local and exchange cultures and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have recently returned from Kenya as a part of my studio in architecture. I along with 3 other friends worked with orphans and vulnerable children who have suffered directly or indirectly due to HIV/AIDS for two months. We worked in a challenging environment of a slum for 2 months tirelessly to build these children their own playground. We build them along with them. At the end of the project, one of the orphan who has fled 3 countries due to war who was just 13 years old came up to me and said; "All my life I have never understood why do people kill innocent lives. But today because of you I have learnt that it is possible to be nice to absolute strangers." He then paused and with tears in his eyes he continued; " You will definitely go to heaven."
What I felt in this moment is indescribable, but I would humbly rate this as that "One Amazing Thing I've Done"

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach a curious being, a little bit of Yoga and Digital Illustration.
Learn: Considering myself a sponge, I am insanely eager to learn anything. But being a little specific, I would love to learn to play a musical instrument.
Share: I could share my life's experiences. I blabber a lot, to an extent that times loses its presence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With my future, not yet known hosts, I can share experiences, a bottle of wine for the interested, some of my art. Most importantly, I can hopefully share moments of laughter and happiness.
