To push my knowledge envelope-- I want to learn and create my own knowledge and my personal truth. To learn from people, because everyone creates their own truth.

ABOUT ME

I have moved around a bit, and though legally I have a home (in India), part of me feels like I am searching. I love doing things on-the-fly, and most times that works for me. I love knowing about people and where they come from, I think it adds to my perspective. I find all people interesting, and working with students and travelling allows me to meet different kinds of people. My greatest benefit in my life has been my parents, who have led amazing lives and I learn from them all the time. I want to make my contribution to wildlife conservation and add to that corpus of knowledge.

PHILOSOPHY

"what the Caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly"-- Richard Bach. Reading his work was a turning point in my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newb! I actually met someone who used CS and he was someone I trusted (my usual M.O. for buy-in). I figured that this would be a great way to see new places, through the eyes of someone who has lived there!

兴趣

I am interested in learning, enabling learning, and research! My research currently is looking at African civets and how they use latrines (specific defecation sites- thats right--poop!) for communication and space use.:) I hope that does not sound complicated, it really is not.

Richard Bach, Stephen King (who coincidently wrote under the pseudonym Richard Bachman!), Aldo leopold, Darwin, Dave Mathews Band, Rush, Counting Crows, The Who, Led Zep
movies -- all time favorite is still Shawshank redemption. I still think "fierce creatures" and a 'Fish called Wanda" are the funniest movies I have seen. I also like watching stand-up comedy. Steven Wright, Mitch hedberg, and Dmitri Martin(his stand-up work) are my favorites.
