ABOUT ME

I grew up in Michigan and moved to Chicago for college. I graduated from LUC with a B.S. in Biology. According to my family I have always had the wanderlust, but I was really unable to travel until my junior year of college, when I studied abroad in Rome. I lived in Washington DC for a little while and am now back in Detroit, continuing my studies, though I am itching to get back on a plane.
It is my goal in life to always remain a student by constantly learning from the people I meet and the places I travel to. I am never happier than when I am doing this.

I road tripped around the USA for 30 days in 2011 and I got to couch surf for a large portion of it. I met some really great people and I will definitely be doing it again.
