Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a graduate student which basically means I'm broke for the next 4+ years of my life so I'm trying to save a little bit of $$ by couch surfing, but I also think that the best way to get to know a place is through the locals and it seems like couch surfing is the ideal opportunity to do just that. I want to get an authentic picture of every location I visit and I love hearing the history and stories of the people who actually live there.

Interests

I enjoy photography, the outdoors, sports and going out with friends when I'm at home and I'm hoping to immerse myself in new cultures via art, language, and food while abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I hiked the tallest Mountain in the state of New York without knowing thats what I had signed up for. 8 hours, 15 miles, 5000+ feet of elevation I conquered Mt. Marcy.
