ABOUT ME

I will visit Europe for the first time in my 43 years, as part of earthsky.org coverage of the U.N. Climate Change Conference Dec. 7-18. From there my wife and I will head via eurail to Berlin, Koln, Paris, and Amsterdam. It is my sincere belief that the greatness in a land, a nation, is in its people, and I hope to meet and hear your stories during our stay. I had no idea couchsurfing.org existed until I started planning for the trip, and by all accounts it is a marvelous thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience with this was during my student years about 15 yrs ago, when we would regularly let travelers, bohemians, musicians, stay over in Austin, Texas, with much drumming and reggae music to be had.

My wife, our Norwegian elkhound Senisa, science, journalism, writing, audio production, enjoy playing flamenco guitar, nature walks, arts and letters, engaging in new media.
