Resumen
Sobre mí
(Spoiler alert: I wrote all this when joining CS in 2011, I really have to update it!)
Travel broadens the mind. The point of the journey is not to arrive.
ABOUT ME
It's easy to describe ourselves, I prefer people who'll get to know me in CS do it better!
PHILOSOPHY
Many things, practices, and beliefs that make people happy don't work with me. Am I some kind of insensitive guy? Well, for a while I gave it a thought, but nah, who am I trying to fool? People who knows me can tell that I'm always joking and laughing about something :)
I just feel that I'm given to another subjects. You wont' believe the things I consider beautiful and worth fighting for, and that's the beauty of life: contrariness.
I think that in order to know yourself it's very sane to spend time alone, much time. But we need to understand it's inverse nature: sometimes the more we understand ourselves is the more we walk away from the rest.
I don't like straight rational thinking, and it's everywhere! Facing life doing only the things that have 'sense', doing things to come out exactly as planned. Beyond the obvious benefits of having some sort of organised life, having the unexpected as the scariest monster it's a very monstrous thing, at least for me.
We've been educated in the wrong way when they tell us that the best we can do in life is try to know as much as we can about the future, so this future won't take us by surprise. Being forever comfortable as a result of planning everything, could be tempting but weak. Relying too much on apps, social media and cute gadgets that 'work for us' as a continous postponement on our own curiosity and capabilities to do things is just an euphemism for suicide 2.0., and behind this network of shiny mirrors some people just hide from the relation with themselves. I've learned that in the moments of crisis, war, change, hunger, inner turbulence, the beatiful essence of human mind shines with creations and discoveries; when is searching, when is unsatisfied.
But you can't beat Rationalization - how do you fight logic in a discussion, when all the conceptual architecture for a proper debate is made out of elements meant to be reasoned? How you do it from outside the bubble? Can you build a categorical syllogism against Rationalization? I can't, though I'd love to watch this become true. In the meantime, reason is the strongest link in men's self-made chain. The typical mind reflex aimed to set order where there is chaos. Our obstinate attempts to capture the essence of existence in a logic system with clear laws make us see things where there's nothing! And, in the other hand, accept lies instead of the terrifying, always present, fear of the nothingness. But who says everything have to be logic? Absurd things are indeed absurd from a rational perspective, and that doesn't mean they're meaningless, they just do in that particular system!
So don't get scared if you're a little bit nonsensical, it's pretty cool. Never change that. I definitely won't :)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS experience it's like going on vacations without leaving home. Sometimes when you work you don't have time or money to escape and see the world! But many of the things you search when you travel (people, stories)can be brought by a random Couchsurfer! Suddenly, the people of the world knocks your door!
Soo cool!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Superb! Always surprising!
Mostly, I've hosted here at home! But I recently had the opportunity, who am I kidding, the necessity to surf. I was in Manhattan with no reservations on a holiday weekend and I needed an emergency couch. A kind hearted friend from Brooklyn opened her doors for me. That was, beyond helful, a very kind thing to do! I absolutely love CouchSurfing for these kind of things!

Algo increíble que he hecho
Summer of 2010. I almost drowned myself in a lake near my hometown. Our boat had a leak and got sink right in the middle of the lake. Me and my friend spended up to five hours swimming back (with no personal flotation devices), the last two hours in the dark 'cause the night came... Despite of how terrifying it was at the moment, I dont' think I've seen such amazing electric sky again. Such a rush.
