ABOUT ME

I love sharing, discovering, learning. I feel like a child when travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love hanging out with friends in a couch and keep talking hours and hours. I believe CS' couches are not just about sleeping in someone's place, but a way to share.
I'm just a surfer, I haven't hosted yet via Couchsurfing but I have done it in the classical way several times, always a pleasure! Always the best way to know a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had positive experiences, don't know why I hadn't done it before.

Interests

Art, music, literature, cooking, dancing, travelling, moving. I love painting -though I admit I haven't done it for a while, too much hustle and bustle- and I translate literature (mainly French-Spanish but also English-Spanish) in my free time, it relaxes me. I am vegetarian and love trying new recipes. Right now I'm quite keen on cycling on the beautiful outskirts of Rennes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard to make lists.
I can't sleep at night if I haven't read for a while (even if it were some pages). Some writers that have (and still do) marked me are Thomas Mann, Jorge Luis Borges, Paul Valéry, Henri Michaux or Oscar Wilde.
As to music, it depends on my mood, but I usually listen to jazz, flamenco (home) and classical stuff (mainly medieval). Anyway I admit that right now I'm quite keen on French stuff too.
I'm quite classical in what comes to cinema. David Lean, Tarkovski, Welles or Renoir are some of my favorites. I love ambitious films (and ambitious goals in general).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've read Sein und Zeit.

Teach, Learn, Share

You never know what you can teach or learn from someone, I'd better let myself go, time will do the rest.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom
