ABOUT ME

I worked in a German Corporation and decided to move out of the Comfort Zone. So I quit the job and left for a worldwide discovery tour. A very smart idea in 2021 ;). My educational background is in mechanical engineering. My personal interests are currently Japanese and Russian language. I like do to Acroyoga - let's fly together. I like to do Forro - let's dance together.

PHILOSOPHY

I think a good life is all about the right balance. Easy to say, harder to put into practice.
Work out your mind, work out your body, sleep well, study hard, eat simple and healthy, but don't forget the (dark) chocolate side of life...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the idea of the sharing economy. That's why I love hitchhiking and Couchsurfing. Those platforms attract like minded people and I've met a few great people here.

Interests

We'll have something to talk about ;) My favorite topics are about community building and human relationships. I like to dicuss and learn about science, economics and politics.

If there is a chance to spend active time outside, I'm down for trekking, hiking and such.

I'm currently mostly interested in partner acrobatics. I usually check out the local community during my trips.

I ll have days during the week that I will have to work for a few hours on my computer 🙈

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to have a passion for science fiction and fantasy books. When I grew older, I turned to thrillers and historical novels. In the last years, I started more intellectual reading, such as philosophical, sociological and political texts, popular in sciences as well as some spiritual literature. It helps to become a great smart-ass!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let's open a bottle of wine together and I'm sure something interesting will happen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Getting together is a chance to broaden each other's horizon. I don't want to offer a menu here, but I encourage you to be bold enough to find out!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I turned cooking from a bare necessity in student times to an enjoyable exercise during early professional years. It's my little meditation during the day. So, I'm always up for cooking together and sharing a good meal with a drink and good stories 🙂

It's great to be hosted by hosts that play music. Love to jam and sing! I'm always down for a game of chess or some other board games. I also enjoy controversial discussions 😁

If you have a dog, I can walk it for you on the days that I'm working and you're not at home 🦮
