I love Alan watts, Carl sagan, anything philosophical. I've also recently discovered terry pratchett and the discworld.
For movies I really love LOTR and Harry Potter, Shawshank Redemption... basically every thought provoking/genius movie ever, or ones from my childhood. I'm open to trying new ones though, that goes for music and books as well.
