I'm an international hole-digger of mystery currently pursuing my PhD in Palaeolithic Archaeology at Leiden University.

PHILOSOPHY

I try my best to adhere to the Golden Rule and believe the world would be a better place if more people did the same. Couchsurfing is definitely a step in the right direction, if you ask me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and being poor grad student, budgeting for trips, be it for research, academic conferences or pleasure, is very important. Couchsurfing accommodates all these things!

Frank Zappa is my number 1! I enjoy combing through records at second hand stores and discovering new (old) music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty easily entertained, but am usually most impressed by grandiose creations of nature! Being from a flat place, I also love being in the mountains :)

I love giving and gaining new perspectives on life and the world around us. I love intellectual discourse and debate, whether it be about politics, religion, history, the natural world, the human condition, whatever...especially if I have a beer in hand ;)
