To rule the world, one written word and one smile at a time. I traveled West (in the US), turned around, drove back East and then North and wrote about it along the way. Now, I just want to tell everybody about it!

ABOUT ME

I'm a picker, I'm a grinner, I'm a lover and I'm a sinner ~ Steve Miller Band. I am actually a 36-year-old male who values health and well being of the mind, body and soul to be the utmost importance. I have traveled the world, traveled the US and will continue to do so. I am faithful to the end and will always be there for my friends. My ideas are surely different than yours, but if they were the same, wouldn't that be boring?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Upon arriving in Albuquerque, NM, I had no place to stay. I had been sleeping in my car in obscure locations across the United States because of lack of money and hotels but now I was in the big city. I had not yet surfed and was sending requests day of, so I did not expect much. However, on my way to dinner, a call came in from a wonderful person who asked me if I still needed a couch. Emphatically I said, "YES!" and with a cup of tea waiting, a comfortable futon (with fresh sheets no less) and a welcoming attitude and spirit, I found myself sleeping comfortably that night. My first surfing experience and one that I will never forget!

Like everybody here, I enjoy traveling the world, meeting new and interesting people, living a healthy lifestyle which includes eating right, taking care of myself and instructing others on the importance of having a healthy mind as well. I love concerts of all shapes and colors and will dance unlike most guys. Writing, photography, and sports are high up on the list as well.

Anything by Hunter S. Thompson in regards to books. Other books that I own and enjoy are The World According to Garp, Stranger in a Strange Land and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. My music palate spans many genre's but some of my favorite include Phish, SCI, White Stripes, Jack Johnson, Rusted Root, Ben Harper, Black Crowes... and way too many others to count. My Pandora list is probably way too long, but that's okay.

Rock climbing in Krabi, Thailand when I thought the height and the physical strain just couldn't be overcome. And yet, with the help of my friends and my wonderful instructor, I was able to get over those final hurdles and make my way to the top!
