About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stumbling through life...

ABOUT ME

I love to travel! Ever since my first flight to basic training I have been traveling all over the nation. I would say my next trips will be overseas though. I am military, University of Iowa Alum, Speak a little Spanish from studying in Costa Rica and just got back from a trip to Belize. I just moved back to Iowa from San Luis Obispo, California to save some money and help with my family's business, JR Roofing, LLC. I lived in CA for the last 6 years so I am re-adjusting from a fast paced hippie environment to the slower pace small town life.

PHILOSOPHY

Living with a "To Each, Their Own" philosophy being careful not to judge what I don't understand. I always keep an open mind. I believe in doing my part in the environment and living each day to the fullest.

Sometimes a long journey in life will bring you back to where you started...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travel and have a general interest in meeting different types of people. Couchsurfing is a little bit of both so it seems to fit me well. I like the idea of making the world a more "free" place, not so dependent on the money system. I hope to help as much as I can. Cheers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying abroad in Costa Rica was amazing. I want to go and see more in Central and South America so I have to brush up on my Spanish a bit... Just got back from Belize.

Teach, Learn, Share

"What ever you put in your mind and stomach nobody can ever take away!"

"Life is too short to live any two days the same!" - a friend of John Sharp's

"Live all you can; it's a mistake not to. It doesn't so much matter what you do in particular, so long as you have your life. If you haven't had that, what have you had?"-Henry James

When it comes to learning, I want to learn to be able to be more self sufficient.

Guest bed as long as my fiance agrees and a couple cool neighborhoods nearby in Omaha (Benson/Dundee).
