ABOUT ME

I am honest, sincere, intelligent and warm-hearted. Responsible, mature, compassionate and friendly. I am an acupuncturist, working on establishing my practice in Maine. I have 2 sweet (3y old) puppies. We like to hike and go for long walks on the Scarborough beaches. I had a serious, daily meditation practice and am vegan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a very successful surf when I was relecating to Maine. I stay with a Portland couple who really helped me get familar with the area. We have since become friends.

Interests

I am an organic vegetarian, and do most of my own cooking. I live and environmentally responsible lifestyle. I am an avowed liberal. I enjoy hiking with my dogs, Bodhi and Sattva. I am a Buddhist, and keep up my meditation practice while traveling. I enjoy interesting, provocative conversation on a variety of subjects. I am an acupuncturist and herbalist, practicing since 2001.

Music, Movies, and Books

i am a classic film buff. i esp. enjoy musicals, films of the thirties and noir. favorite movies: roberta (estaire and rodgers, irenne dunne),Now Voyager (davis), Camille (garbo), gone with the wind, casablanca, 7 brides for 7 brothers, singing in the rain. favorite stars are garbo, bogart, cagney, davis, estaire & rodgers, hepburn (both actually), grant, cable, harlowe, powell and loy and may west.

reading is mostly dharma. i try to keep abreast of what's going on thru ny times headlines and politico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

relocated from asheville, nc to portland me cold, with out knowing anyone in ME. i'm managing to get my feet on the ground and get going here.
