ABOUT ME

Hello there. I'm Adam. I'm 25, and at the moment I'm living in Barcelona.

I work quite hard, but I also take advantage of living in BCN and have lots of fun enjoying the cultural side of things, the nightlife, and the general atmosphere.

I try and travel whenever I can, but I try not to travel just for the sake of it. I don't think that travel is a commodity, but it can be an amazing experience if it helps you to realise where you want to be in life.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about being generally happy, and trying to make the most of things. I'm curious about most things, and love to learn.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met loads of great people through couchsurfinh in Porto, where I used to live. Although since I joined I've never actually had my own cuch to offer people, I've been lucky enough to meet people through friends who have hosted, and show people around the city and hang out talking and so on.

If anyone is coming to BCN and wants a guide, or a friendly chat and a drink, then I'm your man!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love the idea of couchsurfing, and I'm hoping that this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!

I've met loads of couchsurfers here in Porto, and they have all been lovely. Now I've finally got round to getting in on the act I'm hoping to meet even more....

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Working on a refugee camp in Nablus, Palestine, is probably the single most rewarding travel experience I have had so far. Amazing people and a profound and wonderful learning experience. More please!

I'm trying to look at travel and the world in a practical and meaningful way. I have travelled a bit and enjoyed lots of different things, but as I get older I feel more and more distant from the back-packing approach and more interested in genuine, useful cultural interaction.

I love the concept of sites like idealist.org, and travelling to volunteer, as I think it represents the perfect mixture of fun and interesting experience, and also a more enriching and less self-indulgent approach to travel.
