About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Costa Rica or Bust

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a small ranch in central California, then went to school on the central coast(Monterey, Ca) and then CSUDH in Los Angeles, where I got a BA in History with a minor in Philosophy.
I've spent the last decade in LA and have travelled throughout the US and Baja California a decent amount, but am ready to expand!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently driving around Central America, so I find hosts/people to show me around sometimes and have also found a couple great roadtripping buddies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome. I've enjoyed everyone I've met. There are some seriously cool people on here.

Interests

I've always enjoyed history, and hope to start seeing alot more of the places i've learned about and learning about new places as i visit them.
I love the ocean, and outdoors in general; I also enjoy reading and good movies. Golf, board games, card games, eating, drinking, sleeping. I can enjoy just about anything!

Music, Movies, and Books

i'll have to get back to this one...

Books:
Tao te Ching, Catch 22, LotR and lots of other sci-fi/fantasy stuff. Just finished Alchemists Apprentice and managed to only read it while in a hammock.

Movies:
Six String Samurai, Tombstone, Fight Club, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (almost anything by Terry Gilliam), Black Adder

Music:
Whatever people want to play. I like it all, just depends on my mood/setting. Though Death Metal is rarely appropriate to with my life....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting in the water with a full moon and watching fireflies at Agua Azul with my tent and a campfire 20 feet away the night before visiting Palenque.

Teach, Learn, Share

that would make a good personal philosophy
