I come from a small town in Poland but I love travelling and I’m dying to see as much of the world as possible. I know that what I’ve already seen is nothing comparing to the greatness of our world, so I’d be more than happy to broaden my horizons :) I really love nature and for sure I prefer nature than cities. I’m not afraid of long walks, hikes but unfortunately I have to say that I don’t like running-I just wasn’t made for that ;). I’ve been studying English philology for 4 years and I was also a private English tutor not only but mostly for kids. I love spending time with them because I can easily identify with them:I just enjoy the little things plus I love DIY stuff. Before my final year of studies I decided to take a year off and I moved to Canada and I have to say that although it was a bold move, it was also a great decision! I’m living in beautiful Canmore and still cannot believe that this place is real! :) I live with family whose children I’m babysitting, that’s why I can’t accept many guests and I can’t host people often, just from time to time.
But I’m always willing to hang out or go on a hike if I’m free on the day you come to Canmore! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try something new and out of ordinary what would help me restore the faith in humanity and I guess that couchsurfing is a good way to do that. I’m also pretty unlucky and everything what for other people is perceived as “bad luck” is always happening to me. It’s time to change that! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m totally in love with tv series. I also like movies, especially dramas, war movies or detective stories. When it comes to music I’m into many different kinds of genres e.g. rock, funk, jazz, soul and many, many others. I absolutely adore live music and concerts! I love iconic pieces of music because this is how me and my sibilings were brought up and it remains me of my childhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many small things I can think of right now but one of my greatest achievements would probably be a bike ride of 120km in a day. I know that for many of you it’s nothing but at that time I thought that it was impossible and it’s been the thing I’m proud of ever since.
