About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore. To have adventures. To Learn.

ABOUT ME

We're both weirdos who like to have adventures, and random experiences.

Tony (34, Aries)went to Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and then Michigan State University. He is a media guru, frisbee golf champ, and carries a wealth of knowledge about movies, T.V. and comic books in particular.

Ada (28, Gemini), and also a Kalamazoo College grad works as a theatre teaching artist. She loves to make poems, explore, play in the dirt, dance, and read. She geeks out about theatre of the oppressed, nature, and experimental art.

After crossing paths in Michigan for over a year Tony and Ada met in Philadelphia in 2008 and have been keeping each other company on a crazy journey ever since.

PHILOSOPHY

Mindfulness. Respect. Peace. Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, host, and surf a few couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, we've been to a couple of CS meet-ups and had a great time! Neither of us have surfing experience as per this website (yet), but we've both surfed couches, and hosting friends is a passion we share.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be awesome to learn how to speak a new language, swing dance or spin fire poi.

Ada can play flutes and whistles, and Tony practices Harmonica. We love to make music and share creativity. Right now Ada's learning to play the accordion and would LOVE your help!

We're foodies. Home cooking (especially Gluten-Free, vegetarian, Indian, or raw) is a special interest of ours, and we're always looking to learn and share delicious meals, recipes and techniques.

Most importantly, we're open to new things, coach-able, and willing to learn and teach.
