ABOUT ME

Id just like to apologise to anyone who has sent me messages from April through July. Its been a rather transient time and not been in one place for too long. I aim to read all my messages and reply to you all before the end of the month. I am in Ibiza for a while so wont be in Manchester, though i have a house sitter who loves travelling and is a worldly soul so he may be up for guests! I will do my best to respond. Lots of love x

So I'd say I'm a half-breed mongrel (and I don't take myself too seriously)! My grandad is polish, parents are British, I was born in South Africa and came to England when I was 5. 12 years in Buckinghamshire and 12 in Manchester, where I went to uni.

I have different states. Sometimes I'm calm and meditative, sentimental and grounded and other times I get quite silly and a tad hyper- especially if I'm happy to see you! Sometimes I like to be quite silent and contemplative and other times I talk for the world and enthusiastically bounce off people. I will accept you for who you are, wherever you are and whatever your mood. Around me, feel free to be yourself and have fun fun fun!

I feel like I've reached a transitional point in my life where a lot of fundamental things seem to be changing for me. I feel like I'm reassessing where I'm at and making quite substantial changes to my life. I've lost passion in some things I thought I loved and new passions are growing and waiting to be explored. Life is a journey so I guess I'll enjoy the ride and see what emerges. I hope to have a bit more clarity in the near future. Feels strange, and slightly unsettling, to admit all of this but quite empowering too.

On a different note, I love toilet humour. I am the basest of base and I will warn you now, I will laugh at any talk about burps, farts and poos. Infantile, I know, but I can't help it. I love to laugh and will do so until my face aches!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a pretty positive person and believe if you want something, go and get it. You can do anything you want. The only thing that can stop you is yourself. Make it happen... Just do it... Enjoy the ride.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

People, to me, are everything. Together we are so powerful and there's nothing like the buzz of when you truly connect with someone. I've met so many wonderful people in my life, so many who are such compassionate beings, even really new, random friends, who have been so open and generous with their time and been great company. I hope to be there for others like they are there for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm excited to see where this adventure leads me. I'm a surfing virgin so I'll welcome the new experiences.

Interests

I love yoga, dancing, singing, music, catching up with friends, travelling, meditation, being outside, breathing the fresh air, moving my body, reading, learning, sharing, herbal teas, alternative medicine, ecological living, nature, sitting around the fire, watching the sun rise and set. I love so many things! Hugs are great and I have a weakness for nutty chocolate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you yoga, dance, gymnastics, energy healing, help with body alignment, vocal exercises, basic capoeira, how to do the splits! I'm pretty bendy.

I'd like to learn about easy, one pot cooking (veggie dishes most welcome though I do eat meat too). Spanish and French language - I'd love more friends who can speak these languages-especially as their native tongue. Info/hands on experience with permaculture/organic growing. New ecological living ideas/free energy devices.

If you play music/strum a guitar, I like to sing along with you and harmonise.
