Overview
About Me
I'm a 24-year old living in Leipzig, Germany. Having lived in the Washington DC area my entire life until I was 21, I have been exposed to many different cultures. Being that I have close family scattered throughout Europe and North Africa, I have, from a very young age, been able to see other ways of life. I have travelled throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America and am always on the lookout to see a new culture, country, or language. I believe that meeting people and experiencing other ways of life truly connects us as human beings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd love to meet others across the world. By doing this, I hope to gain new perspectives and ways of lives. I truly believe the best way to experience a new place is through the perspective of a local. Even simple things such as going to the neighbourhood supermarket or riding on local public transportation provide an indescribable euphoria to me. The subtleties between places truly drive me.
Interests
My two biggest passions in life are aviation and geography. I have always found that being miles (kilometers) above the earth provides a new perspective. One in which everyday "problems" cease to exist. I plan to pursue a career in aviation either as a pilot, or as an airport/airline employee. Likewise, geography has always had a place in my heart. Learning about the building blocks that make the world the place it is. Why do certain languages develop where they are? Why do certain geographical areas produce different kinds of music? These types of questions are consistently in my head. I also enjoy reading lots of Wikipedia in my spare time, creating music (I have a Telecaster), and just enjoying life.
