ABOUT ME

We are a happy couple from the States. We are forever travelers, chasing the lofty goal of seeing the entire world. We enjoy meeting people and experiencing places beyond the usual tourist favorites (we love those, too). We have a passion for trying new foods, especially local favorites. We love hearing stories, and we are always open to suggestions from locals and travelers alike.

We are huge advocates of domestic travel. We love putting on the backpacks and flying overseas, but we are always taking time out to learn about home. Exotic destinations are great, but we've had some amazing journeys throughout the U.S. and Canada.

We like to host when we're at home, and we believe that hosting makes for better surfers. You can rest assured that we'll respect your home and your time. We won't make a mess, ask to borrow money, or fail to show up as planned. We love sharing meals with hosts, and we are happy to contribute to the costs, prepare a meal of our own on another night, or buy you a drink or meal at your favorite restaurant. Just let us know what you'd like, and we'll make it happen. :)

We love surfing and hosting.

Our house is LGBTQ friendly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had many amazing experiences both surfing on people's couches and hosting others.

When we first started out with CouchSurfing, we were traveling. We surfed quite a bit for those two years. Now that we're back home, we really enjoy hosting travelers.

On our very first surfing experience, another surfer told us that he would CouchSurf even if hotels and hostels were free. We now completely understand.

Interests

We enjoy going to the movies, playing video games, watching some Big Brother, and eating great food. We both love board games. Recent favorites include Pandemic, Settlers of Catan, Attica, Battlestar Galactica, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, and Citadels.

Adam enjoys learning about history (especially ancient). Kacy has a passion for music and dance. We both love nature, which usually means anything from a shady park bench to a moderate day hike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting on the back porch one night at our house, we watched in wonder as the yard filled with thousands of lightning bugs.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
We can teach people about Atlanta and Southern culture. We enjoy teaching English colloquialisms overseas.

Learn:
We would love to learn Spanish. We want to learn about other languages, foods, and cultures. If you choose to host us, we want to learn about your favorite local restaurant.

Share:
We would like to share a nice Southern breakfast with our guests.
