Overview
About Me
My name is Adam Boyle (or Ádamh O'Baoill in Irish). I am a graduate of law from Dublin waiting on results from my bar exams. I'm taking some time for me to travel before I start down the route of practicing law in Ireland. I have lived in Valence, Syracuse NY, Toronto, and Athens. I love cooking, reading, beers and rugby. I could talk about politics, environmentalism, feminism and justice until the world ends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently en route to Japan overland, via Scandinavia, Russia and South Korea. I would love to meet people along the way, have a couch to sleep on, and in exchange I can offer to cook some nice food or maybe buy a few beers if people are interested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once took a boat plane over the thousand lakes in Northern Ontario just a few weeks before they froze completely for the winter. It was an incredible view and an unforgettable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have previously taught English and Maths while volunteering abroad. I prefer teaching and learning in an informal session. I have many outdoor skills from being a Scout, and am also very willing to discuss a broad range of topics over beer or food. I am also always happy to share some stories about Irish culture and history that people don't necessarily hear, and am very interested in learning about the cultures of other peoples.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a pretty good cook, having worked as one for a year while studying and having great interest in it. I would be very happy to cook up a tasty lunch or dinner for my host. As well as that I love trading stories of travel and life and learning about people I meet.
