About Me

Hey there! I'm a dude from Ohio in the USA hoping to explore more. I love being outdoors and one of my biggest goals is to explore more national parks. Any day with a long hike or kayaking followed by a beer is always a good day to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've wanted to explore more of the world for a long time and always told myself that it would be too hard or financially risky. I've recently got to the point where I know I just need do dive in (YOLO or whatever) an experience all life has to offer. I love meeting new people, learning their life stories, and exploring what we can offer each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Poets of the Fall (we'll be best friends if you've heard of them). I'm very much into indie rock, singer/songwriter, and ambient electronic stuff as well.

I love science fiction movies and books. The higher the concept, the better. One of my favorite movies is The Man From Earth. I've been reading more non-fiction lately, but I'm a big fan of the Jack Reacher book series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving once. I have some other things I want to cross off my bucket list, but that was definitely a big one!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the best things in life are experienced together, and I think we all have things we can learn from one another. It can be simple as an outlook on life, how we handled a past experience, or how we plan to move forward in the future. Simply talking about ourselves and vulnerable and help someone else in ways you may not realize. At the very least, I can offer a friendly ear and good conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to think I'm funny. But really, I'm very friendly and good company. I'm very respectful of people's space so you won't have to worry about me trashing your place or anything. I figure if you're gracious enough to open your home to me, the least I can do is clean up after myself.

Countries I’ve Visited
