About Me
Hello, my name is Adam and I am from Los Angeles, more or less. I came to Oslo right around ew Years to start an exchange program for one semester. In the past 6 months I have taken many trips here and there, and now that the semester is finished I am traveling even more. I have planned basically nothing on this trip, only visiting a couple friends in a few different spots. Everything between is a mystery and an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I did not discover Couchsurfing until I came to Europe. The platform is great, and I love the idea of connecting with other travelers and like minded people. I think that meeting locals with similar passions is a great way to expand your views on life, culture, the world in general. Seeing a new city not as a tourist but as a local is a valuable experience that nothing else can really compare with.

Music, Movies, and Books
The road to el dorado is my all time favorite movie. I like to listen to hip hop / rap and alternative rock.
Recently went the metal festival Inferno and got thrown around in the most pits haha.
Favorite book is probably The Alchemist or One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, but I haven’t read either in quite some time. Also a big fan of certain mangas and animes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked from the airport home in the middle of the night, the day before easter. Met some interesting people and saw some cool parts of Norway I doubt I would have seen otherwise.
Also leaving all my friends and family behind to live in Europe is pretty amazing in my book haha
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share stories of my travels, and debunk any myths you might have about Californians. I love hearing other languages, I am trying to learn Norwegian and once I master that I will tackle other languages. Would love to hear some colloquial phrases in your native tongue :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook dinner for or with you, help clean up around your home, and share my experiences in Europe and ambitions for future adventures :)
