Overview
About Me
Hello there! I’m Adam from the United States; originally California, but have been all over and most recently lived in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m an artist that works with music, photography, poetry, and am currently working as an English teacher based in Valencia, Spain. I was a radio DJ for four years, did concert production for just as long, and helped run a record/book/movie/instrument store for 6 years. I have been in bands playing around the Nashville area for 10 years. These days, I am filling up as much time as possible with travel, new experiences, and the beauty this world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think traveling is much more adventurous with spontaneous meetings, and I like the idea of this app because it seems like it could open doors to experiences like that more so than a hotel or Airbnb.
Interests
I am terrible at making “interests” lists in these bios because so many things interest me! I am fascinated by the world, the people in it, and the things we create.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh wow, the list would be too long but the first things that come to mind in each category are Radiohead, The Holy Mountain by Alejandro Jodorowsky, and The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past Summer I converted my car into a living space then drove, hiked, and camped across the United States.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could maybe teach you some English or a thing or two on guitar! I am super interested in learning about sustainable living, permaculture, holistic healing, and energy work, among many other things. Can definitely share food, drink, tales of the road, bands/artists, books, movies, and the like!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a decent cook (if I do say so myself), and a tidy person, so I have no problem with cooking/cleaning for anyone that would host me. More readily, I am always interested in sharing in good conversation, making music/singing songs, exchanging stories.
