I always find it rewarding to get to know people who are different from myself. It's interesting to see where people have lived, see what they like place their time and efforts in outside of work, what communities they're a part of, etc. I feel like food has huge potential to bring people together so I love cooking/eating together with others.

BOOKS: clever short fiction, satire, literary fiction that's not too dry, Harlequin's line of NASCAR romance novels (my favorite? One Track Mind).

MUSIC: Constantly discovering music from a variety of genres (soulful and/or funky tracks, esoeric pop, older country, interesting beats, etc etc).
