ABOUT ME

For the last four or so years I've been moving about as much as possible, covered some of the world but not as much as I'd have liked. I like drinking beer while trading tall tales and learning strange stuff about new places...
I'm currently doing a 20,000 km motorcycle trip around Europe. Any free couches would be greatly appreciated, sleeping on the ground gets old pretty quick :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read constantly, haven't had the chance to catch too many films lately though. Currently reading "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance", not a bad book. I'll give anything a go, but generally favour horror or sci fi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise over Mayan ruins in Tikal, Guatemala: Being escorted to a temple that rises above the jungle, by shotgun toting Guatemalans (who we'd bribed), while mistaking howler monkey screams for jaguar roars, only to find that it was too overcast to see the sun anyway. Still awesome though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach all sorts of ancient and wonderful Australian customs, and in return would love to learn interesting stuff about where other people are from :)
I've also been known to fix the odd electrical device from time to time, but it'd probably not be a good idea to teach those skills overnight...
