About Me

Im a Floridian through and through who lives in Sarasota fl. I always loved the idea of traveling and have done my own personal travels by myself just in the past 3 years.

Surfing at My Parents Home:

Yoy can't surf at my parents hone which Is why I can't allow travelers, or i would 😑😕

I am an openminded person and have my doors open if you are gay, nudist, black, straight, or catholic. I just don't accept slobs or people who try to request late.
I ask that you can tell me what your lifestyle, intentions of travel, and what you are interested in doing around the area I live in, I should be aware of before coming over to my home so there are no confusions.

Past traveling experiences:
My family never travels so I have had to make my own opportunities. The first real trip I had was Junior year of high school, 2006 to Venezuela for a whole year as a foreign exchange student and ambassador of United States thru the Rotary Club of Sarasota Fl. It was an amazing experience and went back by myself December 2014 to revisit old friends and host families.
They treated me so well, I want to do the same for other travelers.
I hosted venezuelan students at my families home on several occasions, even had my friend Jhostines family of 6 stay one night when coming to pick him up and travel America at the end of his stay of two months!

I love hiking. Have spend a few weeks on the trails in HS. Now that I live up north I want to get back into it ever more so.
I love the ocean, swimming, sailing, scuba diving, and everything under the surface. It is my home, my Om.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and believe in karma, what goes around comes around. This is a great way for ppl who believe in humanity and want to explore the world can get together without feeding overrated, expensive travel expenses that we can use for better times with a more personal host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, I went skydiving, finished college somehow.

I remember driving home at night in florida from sarasota to melbourne, all of a sudden this hawk clips my truck and flails to the side of the rod. I thought it was dead.
I wanted to check on it, see if it was going to suffer or if it really was dead. It wasn't'! I didn't know what was wrong with it so I very carefully picked up the hawk and wrapped it up in a shirt and pair of pants so went it came to, (it seemed unconsciously out of it) it wouldn't flail around my truck cab and kill me. I called some friends local to the area and asked what I should. After 2 more hrs of driving, I came into Mel Fl and dropped the beauty off at this 24hr emergency vet clinic one of my friends found online for me which she called ahead of time to verify the situation before I reached salvation.
The hawk had a broken leg and a fractured wing. Glad I went back to check on it. It was a gratifying experience compared to the many other animals I haved saved on the roads, mostly stray dogs and turtles.
