About Me

I'm a traveler! I love to see new places and meet new people. In the past two years I have traveled across Europe five times, and spent a cumulative 8 months in Bergen, Norway and 10 months abroad in total. I'm fascinated by cultures and learning how other people live their lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couch surfing essentially to meet the locals, its an affordable way to travel and meeting new people is kindof what I love to do!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music? Too hard to answer. I love M83 because they stem from 80's genre bands like The smiths, Depeche Mode, The Cure. Also really into Alt-J, Foals, Day Wave, Leisure Suit

Favorite Movies: I'm a huge fan of Disaster flicks (even the super cheesy ones)

Books: My favorite book is Oryx and Crake, by Margaret Attwood. Its part of an amazing Trilogy titled Maddaddam. It centers around a world filled with genetic modification and disease, and an man named Jimmy, who watches over a group of metahumans created to repopulate a dead earth. I also like Classics like Gatsby, 1984, Fahrenheit 451.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In july 2016, my first night in Budapest was the night Hungary's football team won 2-0 against Austria. I was completely unaware until I walked outside of my hostel to meet some old friends and we found ourselves in the middle of a massive parade of thousands of people. It stopped traffic and public transport. Everyone was shouting HUNGA-HUNGA-HUNGARIA! We then proceeded to drink ourselves silly at a nearby ruin bar and drove to Slovenia the next morning.
