About Me
Hi guys. My name is Adam and I've been travelling for 4 months since graduating from a Law and Commerce degree in Sydney. I've made so many beautiful connections and experiences some increddddible things, so really want to continue for as long as I can before heading back home and facing the reality of having to start and focus on my career, butttt I went a bit overboard on the Dutch music festivals (you have so many, so often, with such awesome lineups, so it was hard not to go overboard haha) so I'm on a tighhttttt budget for the next few weeks (just waiting on my work permit, already approved, to arrive).
I'm pretty good company and can tell when you're keen for a chat or would prefer to be left alone so don't worry about me cramping your style (always down for a chat though, and if you're keen for a party that's even better haha).
In my spare time I like to go for walks and work on my music (my dream of being able to make a living producing electronic dance music is my respite from the prospect of spending my life in an office/courtroom, and thankfully I'm not terrible and am finally producing things which sound half-decent) so if that's something you're interested in, or are in any way creatively inclined, then we could try to come up with something cool together :D
I've also just spent a month in Egypt so I can entertain you with stories from my travels and my life back home.
Im clean, polite, respectful and can be a lot of fun or really chill depending on what the occasion calls for. I do smoke but will always respect your rules and preferences and have no problem going for a walk if you're a non-smoker.
If I sound like the type of guy you could tolerate for a few days (haha) then PLEASE get in contact with me! I'll be eternally grateful and will make every effort to ensure our time together is as enjoyable and unintrusive as possible 😁
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've managed my money terribly and miscalculated how long it would take to actually receive my work visa (despite it being approved I won't receive it until they mail it to my old address), leaving me with less money than necessary to last longer than expected before finding work.
Besides my financial situation, I'm also really excited to exchange energies with new people and share stories and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite music: techno and trance
Favourite movies: if it's artsy and shot well (e.g Tarantino) I'm in.
Favourite books: I really enjoyed Shakespeare but if I'm being completely honest I haven't read for leisure since finishing my degree.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently attended a trance festival at the base of the great pyramids of Giza. I've also lived out of home (for the first time in my life) for 3 months which I think is pretty amazing haha
Teach, Learn, Share
Id love to teach someone some music production if they're interested but, if not, I did teach martial arts for 3 years (children-adults) so that could be fun too! I COULD tell you about the law in Australia but honestly I don't think either of us would find that very stimulating,... always happy to share what I know though haha.
I'm happy to learn anything you'd like to teach me. One of the most rewarding parts of my travel so far has been connecting with different people from different walks of life and getting a brief insight into their lives. Literally even the simplest conversations can have an impact so I'm totally open to suggestions or ideas :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories and my energy.
I can't cook very well but if you're brave enough to try it, I'm more than happy to do my best.
I have a lot of clothes (and I think I'm pretty stylish) which you're more than welcome to borrow during my stay.
Also as mentioned above I can share my knowledge RE music, martial arts and... if conversation is lagging, I guess the law hahaha (that said, I'm happy to keep conversations superficial or go as deep as you'd like, and obviously I can cover a wider range of topics than those I've listed lol)
Countries I’ve Visited
Egypt, Italy, Netherlands, Thailand
