About Me
Hey!
I'm working remote and trying to travel a ton! I travel for new experiences, to break away from routine, and maybe learn a thing or two. I love meeting new people and am happy doing just about anything, from spending a quiet day reading to doing a mud run, playing games or having a bonfire, or just grabbing a burger and talking.
I've previously lived in Seattle and Portland, and I've traveled a bit of the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Iceland. Traveling has always been a part of my life, and I'm excited to do it even more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I like to be more connected to the city I'm visiting by being with others, either by staying with locals or in hostels. There's nothing worse to me than going somewhere new and being trapped in a hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Zoolander and the Matrix are still the all-time great movies.
The greatest band of all time is Gorillaz. Fight me. Although most of the music I listen to is EDM or rap -- most of it passively during work. I love going to music festivals. Every now and then I fall back into grunge for a while. Nirvana is king.
I'm all over the place with books. 4 Hour Work Week changed my life. I'm just finishing Sapiens now. I'm also addicted to Saga and Snotgirl (comics).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've snowboarded for 24 hours straight without a single break, placing 2nd in a competition.
I've worked on making holograms at Microsoft and got to meet Buzz Aldrin for that work.
I moved half way across the country to restart my life, and it's been the best decision I've ever made.
I've eaten 4 pounds of Taco Bell in one sitting right after a swim meet.
