I spend most of my time outside. I enjoy kayaking, skiing, hiking etc... but also having a beer or watching the hockey game. I like showing people around town and getting out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always nice to have a place to stay and someone to show you around when you travel, so it's good to offer the same service for where you live. Plus as a nomadic whitewater kayaker, there are people staying with me often enough anyway.

I really like all kinds of music. Favorite movies include 'There Will be Blood' and 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford'. '99 Stories of the Game' and 'Into the Wild' are some of my favorite books.

Whitewater kayaking and backcountry skiing are pretty amazing on their own I think.
