About Me

Hello! I am an American cyclist and founder of Bike for the Clymit Project (www.bikefortheclymit.org) and environmental non-profit that is dedicated to raising funds for combating global climate change in China. In doing so, I am cycling the perimeter of China for a total of 10,000 miles to break the current world record for longest distance cycled in a single country. I am have traveled extensively in Asia and other places in the world, and I have been teaching English in China for the last 4 years. I enjoy meeting new people and being around people! Which it will be important to try and meet people because I am doing this trip alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I would like to meet local Chinese people - I love meeting people along the way in my travels. Also, it will be a good break from living in my tent!
