Hi! My name is Adam and I just recently quit my fancy corporate job to realize my dream of seeing the world and taking a dent out of my bucket list. I'm excited to visit beautiful places and meet the amazing people, along the way.

I love playing soccer, jamming on the guitar, writing and performing stand-up comedy, learning new languages, reading self-improvement books, learning about watchmaking, recruitment, and trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really excited to get the chance to meet locals and hear their stories about life in the cities they're living in. You don't always get to understand life the way the locals live it, when you travel, and learning about the culture of the places you travel to is one of the most important pieces.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite Movie - Space Jam (probably needs to be updated but I watched almost every day one summer when I was young!)
Music - rock, rap, pop, blues, jazz, metal, and dubstep. If it has something to that makes you look closer (e.g. great guitar, clever lyrics, etc.) I can learn to love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When living and traveling through South Africa, I did the world's highest commercial rappel in the world, off of Cape Town's Table Mountain. Terrifying but also exhilarating!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have spent 7 years working in recruitment, 3 of which in the competitive corporate hub of Toronto, and have learned a lot about building a resume, climbing the corporate ladder, getting mentors, and building a career. It seems to be one of those things that I get asked about time and time again and I never cease to enjoy helping others to figure out how to get what they're looking for in life.

In addition, to any of those kind enough to host me in their house, they will be more than welcome to visit me and stay in whatever city I happen to be living in at the time :)!
