I live and work in Yosemite National Park, teaching kids for an environmental education non-profit. I have spent most of my life in California, from the San Francisco Bay Area, to L.A., to the Mojave Desert, to the Sierra Nevada mountains. I love the outdoors; backpacking, rock climbing, exploring hot springs, etc! I am friendly, enthusiastic, open-minded, and easy going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling around Berlin for the first time, and am excited to meet new people, explore the city (especially the queer scene), and learn as much as I can from locals.

I like all sorts of music, here is a sampler: Beyonce, St. Vincent, Neutral Milk Hotel, Sylvan Esso, Glass Animals, Fleet Foxes, Alt-J, The National, Taylor Swift, Bon Iver, The Brothers Comatose, etc. Lately I've been enjoying things that make me want to dance.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, all Miyazaki, Ex Machina, Zootopia, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, etc. etc. I love movies.

Books: David Foster Wallace, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Annie Proulx, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Golden Compass series, Dune, John McPhee, etc.
