I am a university student in Toledo, OH. I'm a really relaxed individual who can make a good time out of any situation. I am upbeat and optimistic by nature, so meeting people with similar vibes would be a plus.

Some of my favorite things to do are listening to music, traveling and exploring, engaging in thoughtful conversations, and learning about and experiencing new cultures.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing in 2017 while I studied abroad in Manchester. The idea of a local housing a traveler out of their own hospitality was intriguing to me. Ultimately, I had some great experiences through the service and thought that I'd host people as a way to pay it forward.

I like a wide variety of music, from classic jazz to modern rap. Some of my favorite artists are Sia, Florence and The Machine, Elton John, and Young the Giant.

Films are also one of my interests. I will watch any film because I think that every film offers some subject matter that can be discussed. Action movies and Horror movies are some of my favorite genres, but Comedies are also good!

Literature that I read, on account of my degree, is mostly non-fiction. I enjoy reading about medicine and modern social issues.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was 16, I visited Hawai'i. During one evening, I went to the top of Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain on the planet (from base to peak), and watched the sunset on an ocean of clouds against a crisp orange-colored sky. The light rays danced off of the observatories on top of the mountain. It was the most beautiful sunset I'd ever seen.

After, I descended to a lower altitude and star-gazed at the clearest night sky that I could have ever imagined. Millions of stars were visible in a sky that looked as if it had been photoshopped onto a postcard. I got to identify constellations and I got to see numerous shooting starts.
